Rossdoor™ from 1978 to today
Actively involved in the hardware, building and garage door industry, Don and Loris Ross recognised the need for customised finishes in tilting garage doors. Encouraged by their early efforts to promote motorisation and a new style of garage door now recognised as the sectional overhead door, they established Rossdoor™ Garage Doors in 1978.
Inline with most small businesses, Rossdoor's humble beginnings started with the company operating from the family home in Eltham and within twelve months the business was moved to the first of three Peel Street properties in Eltham.
Encouraged and educated in areas of interest to them as individuals, Don and Loris' three sons Geoff, Brett and Brad all worked within the business on installations, service and manufacturing during their school years before officially joining the business in full time capacities since 1989. All three sons now work side by side using their knowledge, experience and expertise in Sales and Marketing, Manufacturing and Installation and Business Development and Management to galvanise the name and growth of Rossdoor™ with youth and enthusiasm.

Our team of enthusiastic and loyal staff continue to extend the creativity and diversification through a wealth of experience in every department. Our indoor showroom offers customers the opportunity to view operational Tilting, Sectional Overhead and Roller Doors as well as Swing or Sliding Gates.
Whilst carrying most major brands, Rossdoor™ constantly investigates and researches an ever increasing range of finishes available to the building industry. Many products never targeted to the garage door market, compliment it all the same through our ingenuity. It is here that Rossdoor™ is regularly setting new standards with personalised Garage Door and Gates, which not only blend with the character of your home, but adds considerably to its value.
Through our Service Department, product and historical details are established upon installation on all facilities, providing back up information for our clients not only for the warranty period, but for the life of the facility. This data assists Rossdoor™ in research of the resources used on site in conjunction with the internal factory testing carried out before products are offered to the marketplace.
The name Rossdoor™ is proudly displayed on all the products designed, manufactured and installed as we understand the need for a business to provide longevity and excellent service to our valued client's, that is why if it's not suitable for our home, we won't use it on yours.
